అరోరా పిజీ కాలేజి లో అభియాన్ సాంస్కృతిక సంబరాలు 8మరియు 9జనవరి 2011 తేదిలలో
Aurora’s Degree & P.G College is celebrating Abhiyaan, the Cultural and Literary Fest, by setting the stage for talented students to discover themselves and showcase their talent to the world.
Objective of Abhiyaan:
To provide a platform for the cultural & literary gusto of the students in an endeavour to preserve, promote and disseminate Indian Art and culture in its entire spectrum.
About Abhiyaan:
Ragamadhuri, Classical Music:
There would be two rounds in the competition. In the first round each participant will be given 5 min to perform one kriti of his choice. The participants selected in the first round will have the second round. In the second round, each participant will have the second round. In the second round, each participant will have to perform a kriti of his choice for 10mins with Ragalapana and Swara Kalpana.
Film Music:
Each Student will have to give a list of three songs of which one song is classical based, second is western based and the third is folk based. The participant will sing one song of his choice and another of the judge’s choice. There is only one round and the time limit for presentation of his song is 3mins and judges choice will be 3mins.
Classical Solo Dance:
Each Participant performing classical dance either Bharatanatyam or kuchipudi will have to give a list of 3 items of his choice during registerations.
Group Dance:
This is a team event and there must be minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 participants in a team. There must be a list of film, folk and pure western based items in their performance. One item would be their choice and the other would be judges choice. Time for their performance would be 5 mins.

Badruka Degree College Vandemataram Youth Front Festival on 9th Jan 2011
బద్రుక డిగ్రీ కాలేజీలో వందేమాతరం యూత్ ఫ్రంట్ ఫెస్టివల్ 9 జనవరి2011న జరిగింది
We are pleased to draw your kind attention to the Swami Vivekananda Jayanti Celebrations (National Youth Day) celebrated by us on 9.1.2011 at Badruka Degree College, Kacheduga, Hyderabad.
Various competitions like Essay Writing, Elocution, Quiz, Poster making, Short movie, Best idea for making youth join Indian Army, Singing and Dancing were conducted for Degree, PG, Engineering and Medical students from 10 am to 3 pm.
Dr. Vani Mohan, IAS, Director of Youth Affairs, Colonel Raj Bhattacharjee, Indian Army, Uma Maheswar Rao, Retd. IAS and Sri Vangipurapu Ravi Kumar, H.R. Consultant addressed the gathering.
A draft report on the survey conducted by VMYF on the opinions, preferences and awareness of youth with respect to Indian culture was presented by Mani Kumar of VMYF.
Swami Vivekananda Young Achiever’s Awards were presented to Dr. Ramesh Sagar, Sri Rajesh, Sri Kishore and Smt Sudharani who did commendable social work.
VMYF appreciation awards were presented to various students Mr. Sanjeev, secretary of planet 3 protection alliance, Omkar of Lead India 2020, Narasimha, secretary of Youth for Better India, ‘Sahaya’ social club of Swami Vivekananda Instt of Technology, ‘Enlightening Lives’ social club of B.V.Raju Instt of Technology and Mr. Sunil who worked for Maitri sanghams.
Later prizes were given away to winners of various competitions.

ఘనంగా ఫేర్ వెల్ డే జరుపుకున్న ప్రగతి డిగ్రీ కళాశాల
ప్రగతి మహిళా డిగ్రీ మరియు జూనియర్ కళాశాల విద్యార్ధినులు సీనియర్ విద్యార్ధులకు వీడ్కోలు పలకడానికి 3 ఫిబ్రవరి 2011న ఏర్పాటు చేసిన కార్యక్రమాలు అందరినీ ఆకట్టుకున్నాయి. ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి ముఖ్య అతిథిగ ఎన్విరాన్ మెంట్ ఇంజనీర్ శ్రీ బి.వి.భద్రగిరీష్ మరియు విశిష్ట అతిథిగా 1వ ఆంధ్రా NCC బెటాలియన్ కు చెందిన G.C.I. లెఫ్టనెంట్ సరోజబాల హాజరయ్యారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా భాద్రగిరీష్ మాట్లాడుతూ విద్యార్ధినులు కృషితో అవకాశాలను అందిపుచ్చుకోవలన్నారు. ప్రతి విద్యార్ధి పర్యావరణ పరిరక్షణతో పాలుపంచు కోవాలని అప్పుడే పర్యావరణ సమతుల్యత సాధించగలమని అన్నారు. G.C.I లెఫ్టనెంట్ సరోజబాల మాట్లాడుతూ ‘విద్యార్ధినులు అన్ని రంగాలలోనూ రాణించినప్పుడే మహిళా సాధికారత సాధించగలమని అది సాధించడానికి NCC కార్యక్రమాలు ఉపయోగపడతాయని అన్నారు. విద్యార్ధినులకు కావలసిన అన్ని సౌకర్యాలను కళాశాల కల్పిస్తుందని కళాశాలపై డైరెక్టర్ శ్రీ రవీందర్ రావు గారు తెలిపారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో మేనేజ్ మెంట్ కు చెందిన శ్రీ డా|| నాగయ్య, శ్రీ శ్రీధర్ రావు, ప్రిన్సిపల్ శ్రీమతి అనురాధ శాస్త్రి, లెక్చరల్స్ పాల్గొన్నారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో భాగంగా విద్యార్ధులు ప్రదర్శించిన సాంస్కృతిక కార్యక్రమాలు అందరినీ ఆకట్టుకున్నాయి. ‘ధూమ్ చాలే ధూమ్’ అంటూ విద్యార్ధినులు ప్రదర్శించిన కార్యక్రమాలు, ప్రాశ్చాత్యా సంస్కృతులకు అద్దంపట్టింది. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఏర్పాటు చేసిన ఫ్యాషన్ పెరెడ్ అందరినీ ఆకట్టుకుంది. సుమారు 50 మంది సీనియర్ విద్యార్ధినులు పాల్గొన్న ఈ కార్యక్రమం అద్భుతంగా సాగింది. కళాశాలకు చెందిన NCC విద్యార్ధినులు ప్రదర్శించిన గార్డ్ ఆఫ్ హానర్ అతిథులను ఆకట్టుకుంది.

Sri Venkateswara College of Fine Arts 20th Annual Day Celebrated on 15th Feb 2011 at Madhapur
శ్రీ వెంకటేశ్వర ఫైన్ ఆర్ట్స్ కళాశాల 20వ వార్షికోత్సవం మాదాపూర్ లో 15 ఫిబ్రవరి 2011న జరిగింది
శ్రీ వెంకటేశ్వర ఆర్ట్స్ కళాశాల 20వ వార్షికోత్సవం ఘనంగా 15 ఫిబ్రవరి 2011న మాదాపూర్ లో జరిగింది. ఆర్ట్ గ్యాలరీలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన ఆర్ట్ క్యాంప్ ను మాజీ ముఖ్య మంత్రి, ఎంపీ నేదురుమల్లి జనార్థన్ రెడ్డి గారు ప్రారంభించారు. ఈ ఆర్ట్ క్యాంప్ లో విద్యార్థులు తయారుచేసిన కళాఖండాలను ప్రదర్శించారు. ఈ ప్రదర్శనలో ‘వేగం కన్న ప్రాణం మిన్న’ అనే కాన్సెప్ట్ తో తయారు చేసిన ద్విచక్రవాహనం, పర్యావరణాన్ని కాపాడాలంటూ తయారు చేసిన ఆటో అందరిని ఆకర్షించింది.
విద్యార్థులు ఉన్నత శిఖరాలను అధికమించాలంటే కష్టపడి చదవాలని, ‘కృషి, పట్టుదల ఉంటే సాధించలేనిది ఏది లేదు’ అని మాజీ ముఖ్య మంత్రి ఎంపీ నేదురుమల్లి జనార్థన్ రెడ్డి అన్నారు. అత్యుత్తమ ప్రతిభ కనబరిచిన విద్యార్థులకు కళాశాల సెక్రెటరీ వాణిదేవి బంగారు పథకాలను అందించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి రిటైర్డ్ ఐఏఎస్ నారాయణశెట్టి, కృష్ణరావు, దయాకర్ రావు, ప్రొఫెసర్ ప్రసాద్, భాస్కర్, చంద్ర, బి.ఎ.రెడ్డి తదితరులు హాజరైన్నారు.
