Aurora’s Degree & P.G College is celebrating Abhiyaan, the Cultural and Literary Fest, by setting the stage for talented students to discover themselves and showcase their talent to the world.
Objective of Abhiyaan:
To provide a platform for the cultural & literary gusto of the students in an endeavour to preserve, promote and disseminate Indian Art and culture in its entire spectrum.
About Abhiyaan:
Ragamadhuri, Classical Music:
There would be two rounds in the competition. In the first round each participant will be given 5 min to perform one kriti of his choice. The participants selected in the first round will have the second round. In the second round, each participant will have the second round. In the second round, each participant will have to perform a kriti of his choice for 10mins with Ragalapana and Swara Kalpana.
Film Music:
Each Student will have to give a list of three songs of which one song is classical based, second is western based and the third is folk based. The participant will sing one song of his choice and another of the judge’s choice. There is only one round and the time limit for presentation of his song is 3mins and judges choice will be 3mins.
Classical Solo Dance:
Each Participant performing classical dance either Bharatanatyam or kuchipudi will have to give a list of 3 items of his choice during registerations.
Group Dance:
This is a team event and there must be minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 participants in a team. There must be a list of film, folk and pure western based items in their performance. One item would be their choice and the other would be judges choice. Time for their performance would be 5 mins.
